Only a few days left till Halloween!

It's almost time for my party! I'm pretty excited because I'm a crafter at heart and Halloween gives me an opportunity to make and bake things. The theme for the decorations this year is Harry Potter so I have house banners made, Sirius Black posters and soon my own version of the Quibbler to give out. On the food side I've made chocolate frogs and peppermint toads and friends are bringing pumpkin pasties. It's pretty exciting, I can't wait to put out my Christmas Hogwart's Express Train super early! Plus I'm making pumpkins somewhat successfully out of felt. If they come out okay I will post a picture.

But on to the Zebricorn to my right. I'm really into illustration right now. The zebricorn is the latest in my fun drawings using water color pencils. I would jump at the chance to illustrate a children's book at this point. I have this lovely degree in art gathering dust on my wall and I'm fighting the urge to give up and rust so help me out with a project.

Or if you're publishing a book...I might be persuaded to design your cover. If you like a cartoony style. Ha! Please pay me to draw....except babies. I am no good at them. But maybe if you want a dog with bat wings... I can do that. He's not normally that sad. He just wanted to come to my Halloween Party and my landlord said no pets.

Well, make sure you get out there and do a hayride and hit a couple of haunted houses this week. It will be November before we know it. Ah November! That's when we eat too much and we write too much -well the nanorimo-ers do!-and we finally realize we haven't even begun our Christmas shopping. So relax your way through October with a ghost story or two because November's when it gets really scary!
