Pet Peeves 2 & Goings On

Yikes, I hope you can read the tiny print on my new Pet Peeves Cartoon. Looks like Socrates is out and about shaking up the farm. I like to shake things up too.

Anyway, speaking of moving and shaking: I am done my second draft of 'The Rules' which started out as a crazy nanowrimo novel. If you don't do nano, you have no idea what kind of madness you are missing. Check it out here: nanowrimo.org. Right, my novel... I printed a reading copy for myself but I can't get myself to give it the once over yet. A friend of mine is supposed to read it for me and let me know if it is really bad. I'll keep you posted on it. Eventually the novel should be called, 'My Big Fat Friend.' I just don't know if I have the nerve to call it that. I'm afraid no one will get the joke and think I'm insulting their weight. Ha!

If you know any publishers willing to take a book just shy of 60k let me know. Otherwise there is going to be a hell of a lot of weird sentences in my story. I'll remove every single contraction! I'll do it, I swear! Then my novel will sound like it was written by Mr. Data. Lame... lol. Seriously though, I am looking for a chick lit publisher. Or if you, Chick Lit Publisher Person are looking for a great novel about two chicks getting drunk at the beach and dishing on boys, do not hesitate to call me.
